Service and repair of machine-tool spindles
The spindle is the heart of every machine tool – its precision, rigidity and running behaviour directly determine machining quality. When vibration, heating, noise or a loss of accuracy appear, a timely professional service is usually far faster and cheaper than buying a new spindle.
In our service workshop we dismantle, measure and analyse the spindle, replace spindle bearings and seals, restore seating surfaces where needed, and dynamically balance and run-test the spindle. We treat HS motor spindles with speeds of up to 40,000 rpm in the same way.
In the second issue of the newsletter we list a selection of successfully completed services on spindles by manufacturers such as Mori Seiki, Mazak, Fanuc, Kessler, GMN, Deckel Maho, Daewoo, Chiron and many others.
