Sustainable Operations

We strive to achieve sustainability in our operations primarily through the efficient use of resources and care for our employees. We are guided by our core values and ethical principles, in line with which we continuously improve our relationship with people and the environment, ensuring a sustainable future as a company and as an employer.

We reduce CO₂ emissions in line with the Paris Agreement targets

In line with the Greenhouse Gas Emissions Reduction Protocol, we have committed to reducing our Scope 1 and Scope 2 CO₂ emissions by 50 % by 2030 compared to 2020. We will achieve this by focusing on energy efficiency, electrifying our vehicle fleet and using renewable energy sources.

We minimise waste and view all waste as a resource

As part of our sustainability strategy, we want to reduce the amount of waste as much as possible. We continuously monitor waste generation and our waste management practices and look for solutions in line with our long-term goal that no waste should end up in landfills or incinerators. To ensure continuous improvement and a systematic approach to environmental protection, we are certified to the ISO 14001 environmental standard.

We aim to be the most attractive employer in our industry

To this end, we provide all our employees with personal development through numerous education and training programmes, while also focusing on workplace well-being, diversity and inclusion.

We care about safety, health and well-being

At TINEX & BELL we always put safety first while striving to ensure that our work environment makes a positive contribution to the well-being of our colleagues. Everyone working with us should be safe and healthy at work, both physically and mentally. We are currently in the process of obtaining ISO 45001 certification, which will establish a systematic methodology for risk management and injury prevention.

We are good to work with

One of our core principles is that we are good to work with, both internally and externally. Our Code of Ethics sets out guidelines for the ethical conduct of all employees. They are an extension of our core values – a simple map of what the company expects from us in the various contexts of our daily work.

To ensure that our employees' conduct is consistent with our values and policies, we have set up an internal channel for reporting violations to a designated trusted person (by e-mail to zaupnik@tinex-bell.si, phone 04/279-22-47 or by post to the company's address).

In the event of perceived violations of regulations and integrity, whistleblowers may also – without fear of retaliation – contact the whistleblowing service at our parent company Axel Johnson International anonymously and directly (AxInter Whistleblowing Service).

We encourage all employees and business partners to alert us to any actions that are contrary to what we stand for as a company, as this creates safety and trust and helps us achieve a strong corporate culture.
