Sealing Ropes
Sealing cords are extruded elastomeric profiles with a circular cross-section, designed for the production of static seals of any dimensions. They are used in cases where standard sizes of O-rings are not available or when sealing large housings, covers, and flanges. The seal is produced by cutting the cord to the appropriate length and bonding the ends together with special adhesives, allowing for quick repairs and adaptability in the field. They are most commonly made from materials such as NBR, FKM, EPDM, or VMQ, which ensures resistance to various media, from mineral oils to aggressive chemicals and high temperatures.
