Protective Bellows

Protective bellows are flexible components designed for the physical protection of linear guides, rods, and spindles against the intrusion of cooling fluids, oils, chips, and abrasive dust. Their use directly extends the lifespan of vital machine components by preventing contamination of bearings and seals. The construction allows for a high degree of compression, ensuring minimal impact on the machine's working stroke when the bellows are fully compressed.

The choice of material is tailored to specific working conditions, with polyester fabrics coated with polyurethane used for standard protection. In environments with high thermal loads or hot chips, fiberglass-based materials with silicone coatings or additional stainless steel lamellae are used. Internal PVC frames at each fold ensure shape stability and mechanical resistance of the bellows during intense movement.
