Hydraulic Strainers
They are protective elements installed on the outer part of the hydraulic cylinder head. Their primary technical function is to remove contaminants such as dust, mud, moisture, and abrasive particles from the surface of the piston rod during its retraction into the cylinder. This prevents contamination of the working medium and protects the primary seals and guide rings from premature wear. They are available in designs without a metal housing or with an embossed metal housing for fixed installation. They are made from materials with high abrasion resistance, such as polyurethane (PU) and nitrile rubber (NBR), with the geometry of the lip ensuring a tight contact with the piston rod with minimal friction.
