Round Guides and Bearings

Systems with round guides are a classic solution in linear technology, combining easy installation and high functionality. The basis of the system consists of precision hardened and ground rails (axes) along which ball bushings run. These bearings allow unlimited travel with minimal friction, thanks to the balls that circulate within the bearing cage. The system is ideal for applications where smooth movement is required, but the accuracy of profile guides is not critical. They are available in various designs, including open types (for use with support rails in long strokes) and closed types, as well as in housings that facilitate mounting on the machine structure.
