Spherical Bearings and Joint Heads

Spherical Bearings for High Radial and Axial Loads

Spherical bearings are self-aligning bearings designed to carry high static and dynamic loads during oscillatory and rotational movements. Their construction with a concave spherical surface of the outer ring and a convex surface of the inner ring allows for compensation of angular deviations and shafts that are not concentric. They are available in designs that require regular lubrication (steel on steel) and in maintenance-free versions with Teflon sliding layers for applications where lubrication is not possible or desirable.

Spherical Heads for Precise Mechanical Connections

Spherical heads combine a spherical bearing with an integrated housing and threaded rod, allowing for direct mounting on rods or lever mechanisms. Internal or external threads (left or right) provide easy integration into control systems, agricultural machinery, and industrial automation. High corrosion resistance and the use of materials with a low coefficient of friction ensure reliable operation even in demanding environmental conditions and with frequent changes in the direction of movement.
