How is a spherical bearing assembled?

The assembly consists of a housing, an internal 'cup', an outer ring, and in this case also rolling elements (or it can just be a sliding surface).

Joint bearings are divided into 2 main types:

  • Maintenance-free bearings (no lubrication required)

  • Bearings that require lubrication

Main features of joint bearings:

  • They can withstand very high radial and axial loads

  • Angular compensation

  • Operation in harsh conditions

  • Long service life
