DEUTZ Enters a New Era of Autonomous Technologies

As an authorized representative of DEUTZ, we are pleased to follow the new development milestones of one of the leading manufacturers of industrial engines.

DEUTZ, together with ARX Robotics, has started the serial production of the unmanned ground military vehicle GEREON, which combines advanced propulsion solutions, the autonomous software Mithra OS from ARX Robotics, and modern energy infrastructure. The first units are expected to be delivered by the end of summer 2026.

The project confirms their focus on developing electric, hybrid, and smaller engine drives for unmanned vehicles. DEUTZ will also provide energy infrastructure (generators, battery systems) and its global manufacturing and service network for rapid production scaling. The project is part of DEUTZ's strategy to expand into the defense market, focusing on autonomous military vehicles, drones, and decentralized energy solutions.
